One-Day Student Training Programme on 21st Century Skills: Assess, Adapt and Achieve
Held at Sarupathar College on 27th March 2025

 

A one-day student training programme on "21st Century Skills: Assess, Adapt and Achieve" was successfully organized at Sarupathar College on 27th March 2025. The event was conducted under the initiative of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the college, and saw the enthusiastic participation of over 200 students.

The resource person for the programme was Mr. Sunil Borah, a Senior Trainer from ICT Academy, Guwahati, who brought a wealth of experience and insight into the training sessions. The event was formally inaugurated by Dr. Ridip Khanikar, Coordinator of IQAC, who warmly welcomed the students and introduced Mr. Borah. In his inaugural speech, Dr. Khanikar encouraged the students to actively engage in the session and make the most of the learning opportunity.

During the training, Mr. Bora emphasized the importance of acquiring 21st-century skills that are increasingly vital in today’s dynamic job market. He discussed the emerging trends in employment, the key competencies required to thrive in a technology-driven world, and shared actionable strategies for students to assess their current capabilities, adapt to changing demands, and achieve success in their respective fields. The session covered topics such as communication, critical thinking, adaptability, digital literacy, and lifelong learning.

The programme was well-received by the student participants, who found the training session to be highly informative and impactful. They expressed their gratitude to both Mr. Borah and the IQAC of Sarupathar College for organizing such a meaningful and relevant training programme.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Ridip Khanikar, who expressed appreciation to the resource person, the organizing team, and all participants for contributing to the success of the event.
