Sarupathar College observed World Bicycle Day on 3 June 2026. The programme was organized by the Day Observation Cell and the Cycling Club in collaboration with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Sarupathar College.
The event aimed to promote the use of bicycles as an environmentally friendly, economical, and healthy mode of transportation. The programme featured an informative session by Mr. Satyabrat Dutta, Associate Professor, Department of History, Sarupathar College, who served as the Resource Person. In his address, he highlighted the importance of cycling in maintaining physical fitness, reducing pollution, and contributing to sustainable development.
