A certificate distribution ceremony for a three-month professional course on Rupcharcha was organized by the Women Cell of the Sarupathar College Teachers’ Unit on March 26, 2026 in the College Conference Hall. The event was chaired by Principal Dr. Prapti Thakur in presence of Vice Principal Jayanta Bora, IQAC Coordinator Dr. Ridip Khanikar, and course trainer Runu Bora. Also present were Teachers’ Unit President Porag Bhuyan and Secretary Bipul Das, along with members of the Women Cell and trainees of the course.
The programme was hosted by Dr. Bobita Dutta, who highlighted the importance of skill-based professional training for women’s empowerment. Certificates were distributed among the successful trainees, marking the completion of the course. The event concluded with words of encouragement from the dignitaries, emphasizing the value of such initiatives in promoting self-reliance and vocational skills.
