On February 24, 2025, the Department of Commerce and IQAC of Sarupathar College, in collaboration with the Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship, launched a one-month capacity building training program in weaving under the Handloom and Textile sector. The initiative is conduct as part of the Samarth Scheme for Skill Development.
