On 28 October 2025, the NSS volunteers of Sarupathar College carried out a cleanliness drive at the Kushal Konwar Stadium, Sarupathar, as part of their regular social service activities. The initiative was taken to prepare the stadium for the upcoming Inter-College Football Competition under Dibrugarh University.
During the drive, volunteers engaged in various cleaning tasks such as sweeping the premises, picking up plastic waste, and removing cow dung from the field and surrounding areas. Their active participation highlighted their dedication toward maintaining cleanliness and promoting environmental responsibility.
The programme not only helped in beautifying the stadium but also inspired awareness among the local community about keeping public spaces clean. The NSS unit of Sarupathar College continues to contribute meaningfully to the welfare of society through such initiatives.
