The Gender Audit Presentation Programme was organized by the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on 13 February 2026 at the IQAC Office. The programme was conducted before the external auditors, Dr. Bulbuli Baruah, Principal of HPB Girls’ College, Golaghat, and Ms. Tibeni Chetia, Advocate, Sarupathar. The session was graced by the Principal of the college, IQAC Coordinators, Secretary of the Women Cell, and the Convenor of IIC. The Gender Audit Preparation Committee, an intra-departmental body consisting of faculty members from the Departments of Economics and Sociology, prepared the report. On behalf of the committee, Ms. Karabi Biswas and Dr. Tanisha Gogoi presented the Gender Audit Report before the auditors. The external auditors thoroughly examined the data and information provided, inquired into the processes and methodologies used for data collection, reviewed the interpretation of facts and figures, and assessed the initiatives undertaken by the institution to build a gender-neutral campus and environment, after which they offered constructive suggestions. The programme concluded with a formal vote of thanks delivered by the IQAC Coordinator, Dr. Ridip Khanikar.
