PROUD MOMENT FOR SARUPATHAR COLLEGE!
It is a matter of immense pride and joy that two teams of Sarupathar College have represented the institution in the North Eastern Regional Final Round of the National Financial Literacy Quiz (NFLQ) 2026, organised by the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), an initiative of SEBI. The regional round was held on 12 September 2026 at Cotton University.
The two teams, Team Arts – Ankit Paul & Nilotpal Majumdar and Team Commerce – Sujanta Sen & Bisal Chetry, were qualified from the College Round to compete at the North Eastern Regional Round. Competing against 60 teams from various colleges and universities across the North Eastern Region, both teams successfully qualified the proctored round and advanced to the Regional Final/Stage Round. What makes this achievement even more special is that, in their very first attempt at NFLQ, both teams have made it to the prestigious stage round.
The teams were mentored by Dr. Pritom Sutradhar, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, Sarupathar College. Their dedication, hard work, confidence and commitment made this achievement possible.
