Department of Commerce, Sarupathar College successfully organized the Campus Bazaar for the second time on 10th October 2025 within the college campus, creating a vibrant atmosphere of creativity, innovation, and enterprise. The event was inaugurated by Dr. Prapti Thakur, Principal of Sarupathar College, who appreciated the initiative and encouraged students to develop entrepreneurial skills.
The programme commenced with an address by the Head of the Department, Mr. Prasanta Poddar, who highlighted the importance of practical learning experiences in shaping students’ business acumen. The event was organized with the sole objective of fostering entrepreneurship, creativity, and student engagement.
Students of the Commerce Department enthusiastically participated by putting up stalls featuring food items, handmade crafts, stationery, and other creative products. Students from the entire college participated as customers, making the event lively and interactive.
The Campus Bazaar was organized in association with the Entrepreneurship Club, Finance Club, and Marketing Club, under the able guidance of Dr. Sanjay Rizal, Dr. Pritom Sutradhar and Ms. Anjali Yadav, and proved to be a great success, providing students with hands-on exposure to marketing, sales, and teamwork.
Overall, the event, being organized for the second consecutive time, served as an excellent platform for the Commerce students to express their talents and entrepreneurial spirit, turning the college campus into a hub of youthful energy and innovation.
