The cheque distribution ceremony under the Sarupathar College Students’ Aid Fund was held on 28th April, 2025, at the Digital Conference Hall, Sankardev Bhawan. The programme was anchored by Dr. Ridip Khanikar, IQAC Coordinator.
Dr. Prapti Thakur, Principal and Chairperson of the Sarupathar College Students’ Aid Fund Committee, delivered the welcome speech. She congratulated the selected students and highlighted the college’s commitment to fostering a supportive academic environment and promoting the all-round development of students.
Mr. Jayanta Borah, Vice Principal and member of the Aid Fund Committee, briefed the audience on the selection process, outlining the principles guiding the committee in choosing eligible students from a large pool of applicants.
A total of 45 students received cheques of ₹4,000 each during the ceremony. The students expressed their gratitude and pride towards the institution for this support.
Dr. Ridip Khanikar concluded the event by reaffirming the college’s dedication to students’ holistic development and emphasizing the students’ responsibility to contribute to the institution’s legacy through their achievements.
